We offer a semi-structured couple’s therapy plan that can last anywhere from 15 to 20 sessions, depending on the complexity of the case. The Gottman method and Emotional Focused Therapy, among other skills, are used.
Dr. Rosana Marzullo-Dove works with families and couples of all types, such as blended families and divorced couples. Reproductive stressors such as infertility, perinatal issues, baby loss, postpartum depression, adoption, or surrogacy can also be causing couples’ difficulties.
As we work with couples, families, and individuals, Dr. Rosana recognizes the importance of creating space to explore vulnerability and uncover the impact of past experiences. Many clients seek support for challenges that are rooted in trauma—whether from relationships, the workplace, accidents, the loss of a loved one, or adverse experiences in childhood, school, or other environments.
With extensive experience addressing trauma and PTSD, Dr. Rosana integrates trauma-informed approaches into her clinical work to help clients process painful events, rebuild a sense of safety, and move forward with greater clarity and emotional resilience.
Finding someone good for couples’ therapy can be a daunting task. Both partners must like the psychotherapist and feel that they are working to improve their relationship, build a better future, and promote well-being for each partner.
