Mr. Daniel Tentis’ passion is to help people become the best version of themselves to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
Professional Experiences
Mr. Tentis will be graduating soon with a Master’s in Social Work – clinical track – degree from Louisiana State University. With a BS in Education and a Master’s in Effective Teaching: Curriculum and Instruction, Mr. Tentis retired as an educator with 22 years of experience teaching elementary and middle school. He is also a veteran who served 7 years in the Minnesota Air National Guard.
Life Experiences
Mr. Daniel Tentis has been married for 26 years, and they have 2 adult children and two dogs. Due to his life experiences and education, Mr. Tentis can accommodate various needs and personalities. As a therapist, he thrives to develop excellent interpersonal skills as relationship-building has been a trait that made him stand out next to his peers in the classroom.
Therapeutic Approach
Mr. Tentis values building a strong rapport with his clients by fostering a safe and non-judgmental space where they can openly discuss their challenges. As a therapist, by collaborating with each client, he uses evidence-based interventions grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles to help them gain insight, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop practical strategies to improve their overall well-being.
While CBT is integral to Mr. Tentis’ therapeutic approach, he also integrates other effective techniques, including mindfulness-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), social skills, and solution-focused therapy. By drawing from these diverse modalities, he ensures that the treatment is tailored to his client’s unique needs and goals.
Areas of therapy: Anxiety, stress, depression, sleep problems, grief and loss, self-esteem/confidence, relationship struggles, anger management, OCD, phobias, and other issues.

Mr. Tentis enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and connecting with nature. He believes fostering personal well-being, and self-care is vital to leading a balanced life.
